Electric Sign Codes and Standards
In Canada, electric signs must comply with the provisions of Canadian Electrical Code (Part 1; CSA C22.1:21 – Safety Standard for Electrical Installations) and the fabrication standard for Portable and Stationary Electric Signs and Displays (CSA C22.2 No. 207.15).
SAC has long played a leading role in the development of Canadian Electrical Code regulations that keep pace with advances in electric sign technology.
