Operations Manager for  Silvertip Signs – Terrace, British Columbia

A well established and growing sign shop is seeking an experienced operations manager. As a proven leader you are a well-organized individual with excellent communication skills and a solid history of management experience. This is a key role in our organization and a great opportunity for the right person to join northwest BC’s largest sign shop.

Key Accountabilities for the General Manager position:

  • Lead a team of experienced, creative sign makers
  • Manage account sales, control expenditures
  • Quoting and monitoring work flows
  • Hands on production as required
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Project management on large accounts
  • Communications, public relations, networking, company branding and promotion
  • Human resource management, Health and Safety
  • Inventory control
  • Budgeting, strategic planning
  • Maintaining trust and long-term relationships with suppliers and clients

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sign shop experience & management experience
  • Sales and customer service background
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Corel Draw
  • Knowledge of sign related computer programs is a must
  • Knowledge of sign production and installation is a must
