2025 Young Professional Award – Call for Nominations

The winner will be announced at the Best of Canada’s Sign Industry Awards Ceremony on October 2, 2025, and will be featured in the Sign Association newsletter and on the association’s website.

The award is presented to a member who has made an outstanding contribution to the Sign Association of Canada and the sign industry.

Considerations for this award are:

• A member of the Sign Association of Canada
• Meets the definition of a young professional: A person less than 40 years of age, employed full-time by a Sign Association member company
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills
• Demonstrates strong teamwork skills
• Demonstrates a strong sense of integrity
• Demonstrates active use of best practices in their role(s)
• References from senior management individual of member company and/or other Sign Association members

Members are encouraged to submit nominees for the award. Nomination submissions must be received by the Sign Association office by August 15, 2025. A selection committee will review all submissions and will base their selection on the information provided. Nominators may be contacted for additional information.

2025 Sign Professional of the Year Award – Call for Nominations

• A member who has developed best practices, created professional guidelines and/or built a product or service that has improved the way the industry does business
• Their expertise, professional influence, entrepreneurialism or academic position has provided others with the opportunity, inspiration or ability to pursue excellence in the world of signage
• A member who has risen to become a recognized leader in the industry
• A member who represents everything sign professionals should be/achieve: industry experience, client satisfaction, business acumen, and mentorship.

2025 Volunteer of the Year – Call for Nominations

The winner will be announced at the Best of Canada’s Sign Industry Awards Ceremony on October 2, 2025, and will be featured in the Sign Association newsletter and on the association’s website.

The award is presented to a member who has made an outstanding volunteer commitment to the Sign Association of Canada and the sign industry.

Considerations for this award are:

• A current member of the Sign Association of Canada
• A member who has demonstrated leadership and contributed substantially to the sign industry as a volunteer
• Gives freely of his/her time and expertise in supporting the Sign Association of Canada, its regions and its chapters
• A member who is a mentor to industry professionals

2025 Supplier Professional of the Year – Call for Nominations

The winner will be announced at the Best of Canada’s Sign Industry (BOCSIes) Awards Ceremony on October 2, 2025, and will be featured in the Sign Association newsletter, SAC-ACE content in Sign Media Canada, and on the association’s website.

The award is presented to a supplier member company professional who has made an outstanding contribution to the Sign Association of Canada and the sign industry. This award recognizes exemplary dedication and commitment within the sign industry. This supplier member company professional has shown  outstanding leadership in the provision of supplying products and/or services, as well as whose actions have enabled institutional purchasers to better understand and improve the impacts of their procurement decisions.

This award celebrates a professional from a supplier member company who embody the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and service excellence.

Considerations for this award are:

• A professional from a current member supplier company of the Sign Association of Canada
• Their expertise, professional influence, entrepreneurialism, or academic position has provided others with the opportunity, inspiration or ability to pursue excellence in the world of signage
• The recipient professional should have made a significant and tangible contribution to both the Sign Association of Canada and the sign industry. This could include participation in impactful industry initiatives, leadership roles, consistent involvement in Sign Association activities and volunteering efforts
• A supplier professional who has developed best practices, demonstrated achievements and commitments to the advancement of high-quality signage through the supply of first-rate products and services to sign manufacturers, enabling purchasers to better understand and improve the impacts of their procurement decisions
