Landale Signs is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.  As a matter of fact, it is quite fitting that they are the August member of the month, as August 1st is their anniversary date!  Landale Signs comes from humble beginnings, mostly hand-painting face replacements and screen printing/POP display signs in the early days, to its leap forward in the industry when it acquired its first computerized vinyl cutter in the early 90’s.  Today, Landale Signs is a full-service sign company with a staff of 25+ to keep things hopping in their Edmonton-based 20,000 square foot manufacturing plant.

Landale has had huge growth over the years, and has the ability to service local, regional, and national accounts.  Added to the excitement is that Landale has recently gained certification from CSA to export signs into the United States, showcasing its first export to the lovely state of Montana.  Landale Signs designs, manufactures and installs channel letters, fascia signs, freestanding pylons, digital signs, wayfinding, as well as interior store signage and fleet graphics.  The company has worked with many well-recognized brands such as Ikea, Leon’s, Booster Juice, Jugo Juice and The Brick to name a few.  Clients can count on having all of their signs installed on time, on budget, and fully operational for their critical grand openings.

According to Laura Brown (Vice President), the plan is to expand the business into multiple locations to better serve regional and national accounts, and of course expand further into the United States and bring on more national accounts.  “Landale Signs was built on the premise that we are partners with our clients.  If our clients prosper, so does Landale.  Our long-term clients know that if there is a problem, there is no problem because Landale will handle it.  We are particularly proud of this reputation, and plan to protect it into the future.”
