The Town of Milton has been in the process of conducting a comprehensive review of the sign by-law, which regulates permanent advertising devices located on private property throughout the town.  The current sign by-law was enacted in 2009 and since that time, there have been numerous changes in technology, business sector marketing needs and practices, community expectations, and related applicable law and guidelines.

A review of the sign by-law was needed to ensure that signage is being regulated appropriately and to ensure that the by-law is updated to reflect current industry best practices and the needs of the community.
